BlueHost has been in business since 1996 which makes them one of the most well-established companies in an industry where even a 3 year deal is a bit of a risk. If you are in it for the long haul you can safely assume that BlueHost will be there when for your hosting needs for years to come no matter how big your site gets.

Like any large company, BlueHost has received its share of complaints online. The complaints seem to fall into two categories. First, there are complaints from people who reached their disk storage or transfer limits. Nowadays, Bluehost offers unlimted bandwidth and disk space, so these complaints are all older and no longer apply. They can be completely disregarded.

The second category of complaints is the same that every hosting company gets, and those are related to customer service. It is very hard to get a feel for how good or bad a company’s customer service is from just Googling it because people rarely post positive customer service experiences. Even people who have used a company for years with nothing but positive experiences will post about the one negative experience.

The reality is that BlueHost like every other hosting company stresses customer service all over its site, but until you’ve actually used it, it is impossible to know. Honestly, I have never used their customer service, so I have no idea. Perhaps the most important evidence is their record. They’ve been around since 1996 and are one of the larger hosts in the world. They must be doing something right.

As far as coupons go, consider yourself lucky if you can find one that gets you a free domain name with hosting. They simply do not release them. Whenever we find one, we post it here, but other than a free domain, it is very hard to save any more money.

In summation, BlueHost is a very well-established budget host that offers a fair price but rarely releases coupon codes.
